Firefighters, residents get a break KELOWNA, B.C. - About 2,000 people were allowed to return to their homes on the south side of Kelowna Saturday night as the winds dropped off – but they remain on a one-hour evacuation alert.
Meanwhile, Cher has made her own contribution to the fire effort.
