Indiana - Union to vote Monday By SCOTT HALL
Employees face a difficult vote Monday on ArvinMeritor’s terms for closing its Franklin exhaust plant, local union leaders say.
“It’s kind of a gamble,” said William “Whitey” Whited, president of Local 2993 of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. “We as a union cannot tell the people that if they vote it down, there will be another proposal.”------------------------------------------- posted 8:36 AM :: reference link ::
