Parmalat's American workers uneasy, while investors are angry ITALIA ONLINE
Among the first individual U.S. victims identified publicly are some 2,000 members of a carpenters union pension fund in Alaska. The fund bought about 12,000 shares of Parmalat last summer for $40,000, said Darren Robbins, a lawyer representing the retirement plan in a securities fraud lawsuit filed last week in New York. The group has watched with dismay as Parmalat stock sank to 11 cents a share from a recent high of $2.36.------------------------------------------- posted 6:42 AM :: reference link ::
