Yukon WCB tightens rules for payouts CBC North
WHITEHORSE - The Yukon Workers Compensation Board has announced new policies for injured workers requesting payouts.
The Yukon WCB says injured workers have to prove they can handle a payoutWorkers with long-standing cases with the WCB who qualify must show they are prepared to manage the money wisely over the long term.
The Board's payouts have been on hold since last spring when it decided there needed to be clearer policies.
That's angered some of the 20 or so injured workers who qualified for the payouts.------------------------------------------- posted 5:18 AM :: reference link ::
