Former Global Crossing Employee Lenette Crumpler said, 'I lost everything--$86,000. I'll be happy if I get ten of it back. I'd like to get more, but if I get ten, I guess $10,000 might be better than zero.'
Global Crossing suing former employees 10NBC / WHEC TV-10
More than 1500 other former employees could also be named. Under bankruptcy law, the estate can sue anyone Global Crossing paid during the three months before the bankruptcy filing. It is supposed to prevent companies from paying off its friends before they go belly-up.
