Atlanta: Report Back from Farm Workers Rally by prole cat, Infoshop News
The crowd defied the typical activist stereotypes. Evenly split between males and females, the group included blacks and Latinos, and ranged from small children with their young parents, to a trio of older balding anarchists. Members of at least three ideological organizations were present. I was especially impressed by the cross-union solidarity, noting that members of the Teamsters, Carpenters and Stage Hands unions joined in the rally.
