Virtually the entire labor press has suppressed news about Iraq and the war on terrorism in lock step with the AFL-CIO’s unwritten edict. Clearly, the AFL-CIO election strategy is to attack President Bush on domestic issues while giving him a blank check on his foreign policies. Here is how it must appear to union members:
