State And Federal Agencies Investigate Fatal Construction Accident WCPO News, OH
State and federal agencies are now investigating a deadly construction accident that killed a worker in Warren County Thursday.

Now, more has been learned about the company involved which has been fined repeatedly by the government for trench violations.

The accident happened on Mason-Montgomery Road underneath I-71, around 4:30 a.m., killing 34-year-old William Shearn of Middletown.

The occupational safety and health administration said it's been aware for years of extra risks to workers associated with the backhoe involved in Thurday's accident.

Warning pamphlets have even been printed about it.
