WCB finds employer guilty of health and safety violations Canada NewsWire
The Workers' Compensation Board of B.C. has upheld a previous decision to fine Capital Environmental Resources (CER) for violations that resulted in the tragic death of Roger Archambault in April 2002, a member of the Service Employees International Union (SEIU) Canada.
"The WCB's decision means Roger's death was not in vain," says SEIU Local 244 President Mike McDonald. "Holding employers accountable is vital to ensuring this province is a safer place to work in.
