Complaints of shoddy work unheeded St. Petersburg Times,?FL
HOMOSASSA - From the get-go at Homosassa Elementary School, two things were clear: The masonry work on the school's new cafeteria and media center was lousy. And it was useless to complain.

"I've never seen anything close to that bad," said Giles Cannon, a former building contractor from Pennsylvania, who has worked as a mason and carpenter on the site since January. Construction superintendent "Mitch Feaster complained nonstop. Randy Rodgers (the foreman of the air-conditioning crew) complained. The window installer complained," Cannon said.

    The result? Nothing.
