Bribe in land deal results in prison term AP, Indianapolis Star
'I wish I could go back and stop the stupidity,' Kevin Pastrick told federal Judge Robert Miller Jr. before being sentenced Thursday.
Pastrick, former state Democratic Chairman Peter Manous and Gerry Nannenga, an official with the Northwest Indiana District Council of Carpenters Union, had pleaded guilty to charges they conspired to invest $10 million in union pension money to buy 55 acres in the Coffee Creek development south of Chesterton.------------------------------------------- posted 1:30 PM :: reference link ::
