    The Director of ‘Working America’ Defends Its Effectiveness in Response to Critics - LaborTalk By Harry Kelber
    Dear Harry,

    You had it right in your headline — “Working America is a rising star in the AFL-CIO’s future.” Unfortunately, your take on Working America has it wrong.

    You point to three failings: insufficient membership requirements, governance and effectiveness. Let me set the record straight.
