One dead, two injured in Oak Island bridge girder collapse - By Shelby Sebens, StarNewsOnline.com, NC
One construction worker was killed and two were injured when a 121-ton concrete girder crashed to the ground as they worked on the second Oak Island bridge Wednesday morning.
Jose Montalvo, of Sumter, S.C., who was on the girder and was buried by it when it fell about 40 feet, died at the scene.------------------------------------------- posted 7:20 AM :: reference link ::
