    CBC News: U.S., Canada great pals: U.S. ambassador TORONTO - Two days after a Liberal MP referred to Americans as "bastards," the U.S. ambassador to Canada insisted the two countries continue to enjoy a close relationship.

    "You might get the sense that relations are a little bit rocky," Paul Cellucci said at a luncheon in Toronto Friday. But he added, "The relationship between Canada and the U.S. is in great shape."
