B.C. government announces broadest forest policy changes in 50 years Unions, environmentalists and some aboriginals forecast lost jobs and less protection of the environment.
"I think this is going to create more instability in our communities and industry than it's going to cure," said Dave Haggard, Industrial Wood and Allied Workers of Canada president.
