Wal-Mart workers to hold union vote
THOMPSON, Manitoba -- Labour history could be made at a northern Manitoba outlet of the world's largest retailer.

The United Food and Commercial Workers union is holding a certification vote at the Wal-Mart store in Thompson.

If the union is successful, the store will become the first Wal-Mart store in North America with a unionized workforce.
