It’s OK if it goes one way: south
It’s rather ironic that the man who once urged strict enforcement of laws against Canadian lumber imports to the United States was in Toronto this week to promote tourism in Florida.
Even more ironic was Governor Jeb Bush’s assertion of the importance of increased commerce between Canada and the U.S.
“The common need for trade will bode us well if we have optimism about the future and the belief that integrating our economies, even more than they are, will yield more results, better results, for the people that we serve,” he said.
Sounds positive, but apparently only applicable when it best suits either Bush: Jeb or his older brother, George W., president of the United States.------------------------------------------- posted 7:50 AM :: reference link ::
