Democratic Presidential Candidates Criticize Bush, Vow Support for Jobs, Health Care and Workers’ Freedom to Form a Union
All nine candidates spoke forcefully about the need for strong unions in America and pledged to defend the right of workers to organize unions. The Bush administration has attacked federal workers’ rights and their union and civil service protections.
