AGC-Minnesota event aims to make workplaces safer By Brian Johnson/F&C Staff Writer
From January through October of 2003, Minnesota OSHA investigated at least four construction deaths.
The investigations illustrate the dangers of working on sites that are cluttered with backhoes, cranes, bulldozers and other heavy equipment.
Last year’s fatalities, for example, included a laborer who was struck by a forklift, a site preparation contractor who fell while working on a demolition project, a driver who was pinned under a cement truck and a construction worker who was run over by a motor grader.------------------------------------------- posted 5:17 AM :: reference link ::
