Labor fight becomes battle of inflatables By Theresa Katalinas, nj.com/news
Joe Recupero fought the 'fire' on the edge of his property with a steady stream of water Thursday afternoon.
And an oversized orange-and-black inflatable cat.
Recupero, owner of JR Drywall Construction, which is tucked in the back portion of a Route 45 plaza here, countered union picketing and a 13-foot-high rat -- courtesy of Carpenter's Local 393 -- with an even larger tabby cat and sprays from a sprinkler system.
'I take that as a personal attack,' Toby Watson, an 18-year union worker, said after being sprayed. 'We're well within our rights.'------------------------------------------- posted 8:12 AM :: reference link ::
