Site C dam plan back on the table CBC British Columbia
PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - B.C. Hydro is resurrecting controversial plans for the huge Site C dam on the Peace River in northeastern B.C.

The Site C dam was first proposed back in the 1970s. But ran into overwhelming opposition from area residents and ranchers.

Since then, plans to build a third massive dam on the Peace have been dusted off and then shelved again - four times.
