CHICAGO, July 10 - Only a week after the intersection of Erie and State was renamed 'carpenters place' for the Union he had built, Earl J. Oliver, President/Executive Secretary/Treasurer of the 47,000 member Chicago and Regional Council of Carpenters, died Friday of a massive heart attack.
