    Contractor fined $2.4 million in Hobe Sound building collapse WPTV, FL
    A concrete company was fined $2.4 million for failing to buy workers compensation insurance for its employees, including those killed and injured when a building collapsed last month in Hobe Sound.

    Macs Construction and Concrete Inc. had been employing workers without any of the required insurance for at least three years, state officials said.
