Inadequate building supports become focus of investigation into condo collapse South Florida Sun-Sentinel
Bart Stuart, head of the Martin County Building Department, agreed there were likely problems with the shoring, but said it was only one factor in a 'combination of errors.'
He stood by his earlier statements that the collapse was due to workers using the wrong kind of concrete on the upper floors of the structure and that concrete in the lower floors had not been given time to set properly.
'Shoring surely is in the game,' he said Thursday. 'It's concrete. It's cure time. It's shoring. It's a combination of errors.'------------------------------------------- posted 6:12 AM :: reference link ::
