National Labor Relations Board Issues Complaint Charging Wackenhut With Multiple Federal Labor Law Violations PRNewswire
The complaint alleges that, among other things, Wackenhut unlawfully threatened, interrogated, and engaged in surveillance of employees who were exercising basic rights protected by federal law. The original charges were filed by SEIU (Service Employees International Union) in May 2004.
The complaint says Wackenhut 'has been interfering with, restraining and coercing employees in the exercise of the rights guaranteed in Section 7 of the [National Labor Relations] Act in violation of Section 8(a)(1) of the [National Labor Relations] Act.'------------------------------------------- posted 7:11 AM :: reference link ::
