Barn painter: A vanishing breed By BETTY J. POKAS, Martins Ferry Times Leader, OH
As a professional barn painter, Hagan appears to be one of a vanishing breed. Mentioning how he used to visit Harley Warrick, 'the last of the Mail Pouch barn painters,' the Belmont County man regrets that he didn't go to see him more and never got to see Warrick paint.
'I wish he was still around,' said Hagan, indicating since Warrick and the Rock City barn painter have died there's no one else to talk to about barn painting.------------------------------------------- posted 6:54 AM :: reference link ::
