Labor Commissioner sets new wage rates Las Vegas Business Press
Clark County's construction workers received across-the-board increases, reflecting the high demand for skilled tradesmen. Labor constitutes about 20 percent of a project's total costs. Flag persons now earn $31.29 per hour, a $1.25 an hour increase; highway stripers make $16.23 an hour, a $1.61 raise; equipment operators receive $42.89 an hour, up from $40.89 an hour; bricklayers make $34.98 an hour, a $1.06 increase; and ironworkers earn $51.51 an hour, a $1.63 an hour raise.------------------------------------------- posted 9:03 AM :: reference link ::
