Rebuilding a life almost lost By Allison Morgan, Malden Observer, MA
DeSousa suffered life-threatening injuries while working on the Big Dig in April 1999 after he lost his footing while shifting from one ladder to another and fell 15 feet, landing on his head.
The injury to his brain was so serious few people believed DeSousa would recover, but the former ironworker continues to beat the odds.------------------------------------------- posted 7:15 AM :: reference link ::
