    Striking MII workers face bleak future, holidays BY PAUL AYARS, Lincoln Courier, IL
    Even with the starry diversion, the plant’s strikers, members of Carpenters Local 644 of the Mid-Central Illinois Regional Council of Carpenters, remain in the dark.

    Union members are provided a weekly strike benefit, union business representative Perry Sundell said, noting, "It’s hardly enough for groceries" let alone other household expense.
