Fired inspectors face city lawsuits BY FRAN SPIELMAN, Chicago Sun-Times
Four Chicago building inspectors accused of falsifying their work histories could be forced to reimburse taxpayers for triple their salaries and benefits and the cost of reinspections under lawsuits filed Friday in response to a hiring scandal.
