Union reps rally to spike right-to-work bill Kansas City Star, MO Union supporters argue that right-to-work laws lead to lower wages for employees and fewer rights in the workplace. Advocates of unionism also contend that right-to-work laws essentially are passed to weaken a union's bargaining power with employers, since not all workers belong to the unit.
