    City looking at 'blind' hiring - BY FRAN SPIELMAN, Chicago Sun-Times
    Personnel Director Glenn Carr, the last man standing from the Cabinet that accompanied Daley into office 16 years ago, is also on his way out, sources said. Last fall, the mayor vigorously defended Carr - and insulated his personnel director from blame - during the scandal triggered by the city's decision to hire the 19-year-old and 23-year-old sons of Carpenters Union honchos as building inspectors.
