'Put the safety on' - Keep young workers safe this summer - it's up to you - WCB ALBERTA, Canada NewsWire
Eagerness to succeed on the job combined with a lack of training can be a deadly combination. Young workers need to know about workplace health and safety before it's too late.
'Last year 13 young Alberta workers died of work-related injuries and almost 70,000 inexperienced workers were hurt on the job,' says Guy Kerr, President and CEO, Workers' Compensation Board-Alberta. 'This is unacceptable - we need to work together to better train and supervise workers to eliminate these tragedies.'------------------------------------------- posted 12:18 AM :: reference link ::
