    Judge punishes insurer: Liberty Mutual must pay double for delaying end to 1986 case By John Strahinich, Boston Herald
    Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. has to pay $4.1 million to a former South Boston ironworker for filing frivolous legal appeals in an attempt to "extort'' the injured man into settling for far less than the insurer owed him, a Superior Court judge ruled yesterday.
