Restaurants in Alberta will now find it easier to hire children as young as 12 to be waitresses, dishwashers and other staff, after the province loosened its child-labour rules.
Critics are warning that the new regulation will make it easier to exploit adolescents, who are already considered more vulnerable than older workers.
