Mayoral donor probed by feds - By David Shepardson and David josar / The Detroit News
A federal investigation into the conduct of top officials of the Michigan Regional Council of Carpenters probed whether Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick and former Detroit Police Chief Benny Napoleon improperly had work done at their private homes by union members.
