Pay stubs catch workers off guard - By ELIZA BARLOW, Edmonton Sun
Picketing Telus workers got a shock last week when they received pay stubs from their employer, docking them for benefits they've been receiving during the labour dispute.
Some workers claim the company is trying to intimidate them to cross the picket lines and return to work.
'It's another tactic to say, 'You're falling behind, you'd better come and cross the picket line,' ' said picketing technician Darrell Hawreluk, who said he received a pay stub last week, showing he owes Telus $121 for benefits so far.------------------------------------------- posted 5:07 AM :: reference link ::
