CAW seeks UAW help over Delphi copycats - By GREG KEENAN, The Globe and Mail
LONDON, ONT. -- The Canadian Auto Workers and its former U.S. brother, the United Auto Workers, need to work together to help prevent the spread of the crisis brought on by the Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing of Delphi Corp., CAW president Buzz Hargrove says.
'I believe this is a point of time where there has to be complete solidarity,' Mr. Hargrove said yesterday as the union unveiled an emergency resolution designed to warn auto parts makers not to try to duplicate Delphi's moves in Canada.------------------------------------------- posted 5:01 AM :: reference link ::
