Tony Pizano, 50, a member of United Steelworkers Local 951 in Kearny, Ariz., is among those who face losing his homeāas early as next month.
To help the strikers pay their bills and feed their families, the eight unions representing workers at Asarco established the Copper Workers Emergency Strike and Defense Fund.
