Locals merge to represent construction, road workers - Ann Arbor News, MI
Three locals of the Laborers' International Union of North America, including one in Ann Arbor, have voted to merge into one, representing 1,500 construction and road repair workers.
The union represents workers on jobs ranging from road paving and commercial concrete pouring to assistant carpenters, dry wall hangers and brick layers. Most the LIUNA members work commercial jobs, such as ones for large retail or 'big box'' stores.------------------------------------------- posted 5:04 AM :: reference link ::
