    AK STEEL: Overtime weighs on workers’ minds - Middletown Journal, OH
    Bill Wilkerson, assistant director of the Cincinnati office of the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, said his office has heard complaints of overtime from Middletown Works, but not recently. Overtime is not something OSHA investigators would specifically regulate, he said.

    “There’s no clear definition of when working a double shift would be hazardous,” Wilkerson said.

    But he also acknowledged that exhaustion can become a safety concern.

    “People are people,” Wilkerson said. “They’re not robots. And even robots wear down.
