Carpenters protest work standards at Melville - By Meaghan Wims, Newport Daily News, RI
John O'Connor, a senior union organizer, said he saw Shawnlee laborers working on house roofs in heavy winds, with no fall protection.
'With that kind of wind, you could fly right off the roof,' O'Connor said. 'They're just trying to save every dime they can.'
