Critics slam changes at Labour Relations Board - CBC British Columbia
B.C. Federation of Labour president Jim Sinclair said it's crucial that appointees have the backing of both business and labour.
'What disturbs me about the decisions: not only is a third of the people being let go, but there was no conversation with myself or the labour movement and, I understand, with business about this decision.'
Labour Minister Mike de Jong, who oversees the LRB, was not available for comment. However, a spokesperson for the ministry said the changes are being made to provide a fresh approach to the board.------------------------------------------- posted 7:37 AM :: reference link ::
