    Lawsuit filed over 'scaffold law' - by Joel Stashenko, Buffalo Business First
    A coalition of businesses in Western New York is soliciting support across the state for a lawsuit it has filed challenging the state's "scaffold law."

    Businesses for a Better New York is contending that the law violates the equal protection and commerce clauses of the federal constitution by driving up insurance costs for New York companies compared to those in states with no liability clauses.
