Carpenters, LIUNA Abstain From Obama Endorsement - ENR | McGraw-Hill Construction
The Change To Win coalition, which includes seven labor unions, endorsed presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) on Feb. 21, but two unions, the carpenters and laborers, abstained. The Laborers’ International Union of North America will survey members to see which candidate they support, says General President Terence O’Sullivan. In August the carpenters endorsed former Sen.
