    Spotter didn't stop truck that killed bridge worker - By Amy Steele, Canwest News Service
    The victim of a fatal accident at the Golden Ears Bridge site was talking on a cellphone.

    A 41-year-old section manager for Bilfinger Berger, who was killed on May 9 while working on the Golden Ears Bridge project, was talking on a cellphone, with his back to the dump truck when he was struck, according to a WorkSafeBC investigation report.
