    Handgun seizure at crash scene highlights dangers to paramedics - By Elaine Mitropoulos, Comox Valley Echo, BC Canada
    Chute said according to WorkSafe B.C. paramedics were ranked as having the second most dangerous job in the province after ironworkers.

    They had a one in seven chance of being injured on the job, he added, whereas firefighters were ranked sixth and police officers number 21 on the list.
