DOL Criminal Actions On February 18, 2003, in the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, Jerome Dube, former financial secretary of Carpenters Local 1865, was sentenced to three years probation with the first 120 days to be served in community confinement with work release followed by 60 days in home detention with work release. Dube was ordered to pay restitution in the total amount of $14,176. Dube pled guilty to embezzling union funds on November 27, 2002, following an investigation by the OLMS Minneapolis Resident Investigator Office.
