    Workers Memorial events honor those killed, injured on the job Workers Memorial Day, observed annually on April 28 by organized labor, commemorates workers who have been killed and injured on the job and provides a rallying cry for stronger workplace safety protections. Events are planned in several locations around the state, the Minnesota AFL-CIO said.
