LaborTalk by Harry Kelber - New Board Takes Over Troubled ULLICO ULLICO's insider trading scandal is still the subject of investigation by several government agencies. The U.S. Labor Dept. is conducting an independent inquiry to determine whether the union leaders on the board, in their management roles, breached their fiduciary responsibilities to their own union pension funds. The House Education and Workforce Committee and the Senate Government Affairs Committee have scheduled hearings on ULLICO next month.
